Veggie Pizza 

  • 1 Whole Grain Pizza crust  (They make ready-made or you can make it from scratch)
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • Your choice of veggies:
    • Zucchini, sliced
    • Tomato, sliced
    • Artichoke hearts
    • Onions, chopped
    • Garlic, minced
    • Bell peppers, chopped
    • Sundried tomatoes
    • Broccoli florets
    • Mushrooms, sliced
    • Green onions, chopped
    • Fresh herbs (oregano, basil, etc)
  • ¼ cup mozzarella cheese or veggie cheese

Use a pizza stone or follow the directions for your ready made crust.  I brush mine with a little olive oil before building the pizza.  Spread a thick layer of marinara on the pizza.Add mozzarella or veggie cheese, then slice or chop your veggies into large slices and lay them and your herbs on top.  Bake on the pizza stone for 12- 15 minutes at 450 degrees.
